Ingredients 

Chicken ingredients

  • 6-8 chicken thighs , (boneless, skinless)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup corn starch

Sauce ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, (minced)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • orange zest
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions 

Chicken

  • Cut chicken thighs into 1 inch pieces.
    6-8 chicken thighs
  • Season with salt, sesame oil, soy sauce, and an egg mix well.
    ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 egg
  • Completely coat our chicken in corn starch.
    1 cup corn starch
  • Fry in hot oil 375F for 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside. Alternatively, you can spray with oil and air fry at 350F for 12-13 minutes.

Sauce

  • Into a wok or pan, add all our sauce ingredients, bring it up to a simmer.
    2 cloves garlic, 1 cup orange juice, 2½ tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp rice vinegar, orange zest
  • Mix together corn starch and water to create a corn starch slurry. Add this into our sauce to thicken. Continue stirring until it reaches your desired consistency.
    1 tbsp corn starch, 1 tbsp water
  • Toss our chicken in the sauce and serve.

    This was wonderful, until I watch this on IG and used brown sugar…. Then on this link that you supplied doesn’t have brown sugar anywhere near it… It was still delicious šŸ˜‹. I added some hot repld pepper flakes to it.
