Honey Sriracha Shrimp

This honey sriracha shrimp recipe is super simple to make at home and it takes less than 25 minutes.

Ingredients

Shrimp

  • 2 lbs shrimp (peeled)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ cup corn starch

Sauce ingredients

  • 2 cloves grated garlic
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • ½ tbsp oyster sauce

Instructions

  • Into a bowl season your peeled shrimp with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and sugar.
    2 lbs shrimp, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp sugar
  • Add corn starch and toss to coat each piece completely.
    ½ cup corn starch
  • Shallow fry in a layer of oil on med-high heat. Only takes 1 minute on each side.
  • Set aside the crispy shrimp.
  • Into a separate bowl mix together all the sauce ingredients.
    2 cloves grated garlic, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 4 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp sriracha, 1 tbsp chili flakes, ½ tbsp oyster sauce
  • Add the sauce into a pan over medium heat.
  • Once it starts to bubble, add the crispy shrimp back in to coat. Top with green onions and enjoy.
