Ingredients

Chicken

  • 6-8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp dark soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 2 cloves grated garlic
  • 1 tbsp oil

Noodles

  • ½ yellow onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves grated garlic
  • 450 g chow mein noodles
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chili oil
  • green onions

Instructions

  • Cut chicken thighs into 1 inch cubes.
    6-8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • Season with soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, grated garlic, and white pepper
    1 tbsp soy sauce, ½ tbsp dark soy sauce, ½ tbsp sugar, 1 tsp white pepper, 2 cloves grated garlic
  • Add oil into a preheated pan, and cook on each side until golden brown and cooked through. 3-5 minutes each side. Remove and set aside.

  • Add boiling water into chow mein noodles and soak for 1 minute. Strain.
    450 g chow mein noodles
  • Add sliced onions into the pan along with grated garlic. Cook 1 minute.

  • Add strained chow mein noodles and season with soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Mix well.

  • Add the cooked chicken back in along with a drizzle of chili oil and top with green onions.
