Perfect Homemade Nutella

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hazelnuts
  • tbsp sugar
  • tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Place your hazelnuts on a baking tray and roast in the oven at 400F for 12 minutes.
    2 cups hazelnuts
  • Place hazelnuts into a food processor and continue to blend until the hazelnuts release their oils and become smooth. This may take some time about 5-8 minutes.
  • Now add sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips. Blend until smooth once again about 3 minutes.
    1½ tbsp sugar, 1½ tbsp cocoa powder, ½ tsp vanilla extract, 100 g semi sweet chocolate chips
  • Adjust sweetness to your liking. Consistency can be thinned out by adding oil. I prefer not to.
