Assembly & garnish

Instructions

  • Before we begin, if you would like to make a large portion of bibimbap for meal prep, multiply the ingredients by the amount of servings you would like to make. For example, if you want to make 5 servings, multiply ingredients by 5.

Veggies

  • Prepare all your veggies by cutting them up. It really doesn't matter what shape you decide to cut them in, I just like doing matchsticks for all of the veggies.
1 handful chopped carrots, 1 handful sliced onions, 1 handful spinach, 1 handful beansprouts, 3 shitake mushrooms, 1 handful zuchinni
  • Place all the veggies into a pan. I keep them separate for presentation, but to make life easier you can mix them together.
  • Season the vegetables with salt and sesame oil, stir over medium heat for 5 minutes or until your desired doneness. Set aside.
1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tsp salt

Beef

  • Add frozen beef rolls into your pan over high heat.
    ½ lb frozen beef rolls
  • Season with soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil.
1 tbsp soy sauce, ½ tbsp honey, 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Chop and continue mixing until fully cooked, set aside.

Sauce

  • Add all bibimbap sauce ingredients together in a bowl and mix well.
1 tbsp gochujang, 1 clove grated garlic, 1½ tbsp rice vinegar, ½ tbsp sugar, 1 tsp sesame oil

Assembly

  • Add cooked rice into a bowl.
    150 g cooked rice
  • Place your veggies on top of the cooked rice.
  • Add meat on top of the veggies.
  • Add a sunny side up egg on top, garnish with furikake, and pour over the bibimbap sauce.
