10 Minute Chili Garlic Udon

Ingredients

  • 1 package udon noodles
  • ½ shallot
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 1 tbsp chili crisp
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp kecap manis sweet soy sauce (optional)
  • tbsp oil

Garnish

  • green onion
  • black garlic
  • crispy garlic

Instructions

  • Start by finely dicing your shallots and mincing garlic into a bowl.
    ½ shallot, 2 cloves garlic
  • Add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, gochugaru, chili crisp, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and sweet soy sauce. Mix well.
    1½ tbsp soy sauce, ½ tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes), 1 tbsp chili crisp, 1 tsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp kecap manis sweet soy sauce
  • Heat up some oil to 400F then pour it over all the sauces.
    2½ tbsp oil
  • Cook your udon noodles according to packaging.
    1 package udon noodles
  • Mix udon in with the sauce and top with garnishes.
